21:8. ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಅಲೆದಾಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೆಲೆಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರು ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು.”

21:8. ಕರ್ತನು --ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೈಕೊಂಡರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರ ಪಾದಗಳು ಇನ್ನು ಕದಲುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

21:8. I will not make Israel again leave the land I gave to their ancestors, provided that they carefully obey all I commanded them, the whole law my servant Moses ordered them to obey."
